Our Legacy

In 2024, we celebrated two major milestones - 140 years in business and 50 years of lumber manufacturing. The achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to producing high-quality products, conserving our natural resources, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Our legacy is one of resilience, innovation, and stewardship - a foundation that has allowed us to thrive across generations and serve both domestic and international markets with integrity and excellence.

Moundville

Our flagship lumber mill is located in Moundville, AL, strategically located to leverage the strength of our own forests. Since opening in 1997, the Moundville Mill has grown to become one of the largest producers of Southern yellow pine lumber in the region.

We maintain strong partnerships throughout the area to ensure our products are of the highest quality and are sustainably sourced. As a key part of the Hale County economy, we're proud that many of our employees and their families call this community home.

Thomasville

Joining Westervelt Lumber in 2021, the Thomasville Mill represents the next generation of lumber manufacturing. This state-of-the-art facility combines a strong focus on safety with sustainable operations to deliver quality products across the U.S.

Our partnership with Clarke County and the City of Thomasville has been strong from the start. We're proud to be actively engaged in the local community and to contribute in meaningful ways to its growth and success.
